Meet the Maker

By trade I'm a registered nurse. Ceramics came later, a little over four years ago now, and I fell for it the moment my hands touched the clay. That hasn't worn off since.
I like to move around in the practice rather than settle into one corner of it. Wheel thrown, hand built, whatever the piece is asking for. The miniature villages are the hand-built end of it: tiny porcelain houses, sculpted and painted one at a time in my studio in Murrumbateman, NSW.
Everything here is made with love, and attention to detail matters to me more than almost anything else. I try to put a bit of my personality into every piece, which is probably why no two of them ever come out quite the same.
That's rather the point. There's only ever one of each.
