Privacy policy

This policy explains what I do with your information when you shop at CeramiKara. I have written it to the Australian Privacy Principles.

WHO I AM

WHAT I COLLECT
When you place an order: your name, email address, delivery address, phone number if you give one, and order details. Payment card details are handled by Shopify Payments and PayPal and are never seen or stored by me.

When you browse: Shopify records standard analytics such as pages viewed and device type, and uses cookies to keep your cart working.

If you email me: whatever you choose to put in that email.

WHY I COLLECT IT
To take and fulfil your order, to post it to you, to answer your questions, to meet my record-keeping obligations, and to fix problems.

WHO I SHARE IT WITH
Shopify, which runs this store and hosts the data. Shopify Payments and PayPal, to process payment. Australia Post, to deliver your parcel. I do not sell your information to anyone, and I do not share it for advertising.

MARKETING
I will only email you marketing if you have opted in, and every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link. Order and shipping emails are not marketing and will still be sent.

HOW LONG I KEEP IT
Order records are kept as long as I am required to keep business records, and then deleted.

ACCESS AND CORRECTION
You can ask me what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it where I am not required to keep it. Email support@ceramikara.com and I will respond.

COMPLAINTS
If you are unhappy with how I have handled your information, email me first. If we cannot resolve it, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
